Excursion
The excursion will take place in two parts – first a lunch on campus, and then we will bus folks to and from the first location.
- First up: A trip to the Royal Botanical Gardens, Canada’s largest (over 2400 acres) garden and nature sanctuary. RBG has multiple gardens and properties to explore – including the Rock Garden and Hendrie Park and the Rose Garden – which include beautiful blooms of all varieties, cafés, restaurants, and water features. RBG is a beautiful, peaceful retreat to appreciate nature and our relationship to it.
- Second: A tour and tasting at Collective Arts, a Hamilton institution that firmly believes in “Drinking Creatively.” Collective Arts is a brewery that makes beer, cider, cocktails, spirits, and energy / wellness drinks. They also host a beer garden in the summer. At this excursion, you will get a tour behind the scenes to see where the magic happens and will get to try some of their creations – a great combination of education and entertainment.
